Winona Ryder professionally Winona Ryder was born on Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her for her hometown. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father was from her Jewish heritage. The actress is the younger sister of Uria who is half-sibling to Jubal and Sunyata. The time Ryder was just seven, her family moved into Mendocino County California. The family was in a house that didn't have electric power. No televisions were the only way for Ryder to pass the time. Eventually, she began to read extensively. In 1983, when she was 12 years old, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. When she was 15, Ryder landed a role in Lucas, her first major film. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Her professional acting, she believed to help, could have helped her. But, unfortunately, that didn't take place. However, she continued to pursue the goals she had set for herself. Her biggest break came in 1988 with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in various films. There were two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
